摘要：The talk first introduces the importance of applying biohybrids for photocatalytical environmental remediation, and fuels and chemical production. Then, a brief compilation of different types of biohybrids, including purified enzyme/biocomplex/biosystem-inorganic hybrids and microbial cell-inorganic hybrids is provided. The major part of the talk focuses on several case studies in this area conducted by the speaker’s group in last few years. Finally, the perspective of the application of biohybrids is discussed.

Po Keung WONG，香港中文大学生命科学学院教授及名誉教授，广东工业大学客座教授，爱思唯尔旗下环境科学期刊 (J Environ Sci)副主编，施普林格旗下环境地球化学与健康(Environ Geochem Health)期刊协调编辑，南开大学、华南理工大学、华中师范大学等客座教授。1977年，香港中文大学生物学本科，1979年，香港中文大学生物学硕士，1983年 美国加州大学戴维斯分校，微生物学博士。主要从事生物材料杂化系统用于光催化环境净化、燃料和化学品生产的研究，学术生涯中获得70项内外部科研资助，总值4500多万港币，在Energy Environ Sci, Environ Sci Technol, Water Res, Appl Catal B: Environ, JACS, Adv Mater, Adv Energy Mater, Adv Funct Mater, Nano Energy等期刊发表SCI论文360多篇，被引用27000多次，H指数88， i10指数292 (Google Scholar)，入选2020-2022科睿唯安“全球高被引科学家”榜单. 2015年获得教育部自然科学类优秀科研成果奖（二等）（1/4）。2018 获得广东省珠江学者。2019 获得香港中文大学卓越研究奖。
